1. The painting project was my favorite project this semester because I really learned a lot from it. Before this I actually thought I was a horrible painter. And I never really tried painting because it never looked like fun but now I see that when you paint, you can create anything just by selecting the right type of brush and mixing the right color. I am really proud of this project because it turned out really nice and far better than I ever expected. I really felt like I could express anything i wanted to and that was really cool, it was almost like making music and sprawling out your feelings through paint strokes.
2. I think that I learned the most form this perspective game drawing because it really shows you how to convert the way things look in real life onto paper. Using the origin on the horizon line you can connect all parts of a picture there so it looks real. Say you have a box and you need to make it look 3D, just connect all the sides of the box to the origin and the picture will look real, like a tissue box. Before this it was very hard to draw cities because really all those are are clusters of rectangles that fade into one spot.
